St. Lucia, the Beautiful

So, I finally uploaded the photos that my husband, Eric, and I took on our honeymoon to St. Lucia.  Here are just a few:

View from our balcony at the Windjammer Landing.

Eric and I tried out some fun water activities like tubing, water-skiing, and snorkeling.

The Pitons (aka, the "Twin Peaks")

The Pitons (or “Twin Peaks”)–the most iconic landmark of the island.

Inside the rainforest…

We swam underneath a waterfall!

We drove/walked through the Soufriere volcano, the world’s only drive-in volcanic crater!  It’s now dormant, but there are still lots of bubbly, steaming sulfur springs.

We also visited Fond Doux Estate, a 250-year-old working cocoa, banana, and citrus plantation.  After the cacao beans are fermented, they are laid out in the sun to dry for several days.

Marigot Bay.

Intermittent rainshowers were common, but they often left rainbows in their wake!
